Remember when your mom used to tell you that she had eyes in the back of her head so she can keep you in line … well that’s a real thing now.
UK based start-up ZONA has come up with a genius way to help prevent motorcycle accidents by giving drivers a high tech view of what’s happening behind them without having to take their eyes off the road. The system is made up of a small backward display attached to a flexible arm mounted inside the helmet lining. It’s got a rear facing camera and it streams live video via Wi-Fi to the screen. And get this the video is stabilised before it reaches the display using accelerometers to accommodate for the bike’s movements, so the rider actually gets a established and clear view at all timesDaily Planet - Discovery Channel
